Context and Task
In 2020, the Nauka 0+ Festival was held online for the first time.
The task was to create a convenient lecture portal where more than 1 million participants could easily navigate among 200+ lectures held over five days.

The festival included eight thematic tracks and featured world-class scientists such as Michio Kaku, John Hardy, Rashid Sunyaev, Steven Weinberg, Barry Barish, and others.

UX Design and Navigation
A clear, user-friendly portal structure was designed so that visitors could easily switch between lectures and tracks.

As a result, navigation became intuitive even for those who came just to watch a single lecture.

Branding and Visual System
A new visual identity was created with a focus on the two main lecture halls — the “Nobel” and the “Golden”.

Each hall received its own color scheme, symbols, and graphical elements representing its scientific theme — from molecules and planets to organic forms.



For the main venues, we added active animations and vivid accent colors, helping them stand out among other festival events.

UI and Lecture Hall Design
Each lecture had its own page with a themed visual and unique background.

I created animated intros for video lectures, stylized frames and background elements to visually unite speakers and events into a single festival atmosphere.

The design relied on a clean grid, contrasting typography, and bright graphic accents, reinforcing the feeling of a scientific celebration.
